FixturePoint privacy policy

FixturePoint is an app for organising a five-a-side (or any format) football group: who is playing each week, the teams, the scores and who has paid. It is made by NoPointApps ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app stores, who can see it, and what we do with it.

Groups: who can see what

Every group has an organiser who sets it up. Other players join with a group code or a private link. Information you add to a group is visible to that group:

• Everyone in your group can see player names, who is in, out or on the reserve list, team sheets, match results, goals, and profile photos once they are approved.
• Your organiser can also see and edit payment records (who has paid and account balances), join requests, and can remove players.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address and password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Your password is stored in scrambled form by Google and we never see it.
• Your player details in a group: the name you are known by, an optional profile photo, and an optional nationality flag.
• Your football activity: weekly availability (in, out, reserve, holiday dates), team assignments, match results and goals, who has the ball or bibs, and ratings worked out from results.
• Payment records: the amount each player owes or has in credit, and a history of payments the organiser has marked. See "Payments" below.
• Notification details: if you switch on notifications, a device token so your phone can receive them. You can switch them off at any time in your phone's settings.
• A simple usage log: which screen was opened and when, and for some screens your player name, whether you used the app or the web version, and the app version. Only the developer can see this. It is used to fix bugs and to see whether people are on an old version.
• Settings on your device: things like your chosen theme and your voting preferences are kept on your phone. Older web-link users also have their private vote link remembered on their device.

Profile photos

If you add a photo, your phone's photo picker opens and only the photo you choose is used. It is cropped to a small square and stored in your group's private record in the app's database, so it is only visible to signed-in members of your group. A new or changed photo is held for your organiser to approve before the rest of the group sees it. You can remove your photo at any time from your Profile tab, which deletes it.

Payments

FixturePoint keeps a record of who has paid so your organiser can keep track. It does not collect or process payments and never sees your card or bank details. The organiser may add their own bank details or a payment link for players to use. If you tap a card payment link you are taken to that third party's website, which has its own privacy policy.

Apple Watch

If you use the optional Apple Watch app to log goals, the goals and scorers you enter are saved to your group's records in the same way as if you had entered them on your phone. The watch app does not collect anything else.

Who we share data with

We only use these services to run the app, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone:

• Google Firebase (database and sign-in): stores the app's data, including profile photos. Google's servers may be in the UK, EU or US.
• Apple and Google notification services: deliver notifications to your phone if you switch them on.

The developer, as the operator of the database the app runs on, has technical access to the stored data. That access is used only to keep the service running, fix problems and answer support requests.

What we do not do

• No adverts.
• No analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
• No selling or sharing your data for marketing.
• No access to your location, contacts or microphone.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while your account and group exist. Match results and ratings are part of your group's history. To have your account and the personal details we hold about you deleted or anonymised, email us (below) and we will do it. Your organiser can also remove you from a group.

Children

FixturePoint is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how it is used. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
